We offer comprehensive cybersecurity and digital forensics services, including risk assessment, penetration testing, incident response, network and application security, compliance readiness, user awareness training, forensic investigation and — newest of all — security for the AI agents now operating inside businesses.
We assess your current security infrastructure, identify the vulnerabilities that genuinely matter, and implement measures that strengthen your defences against the threats you actually face. You get a prioritised roadmap rather than a list of everything that could theoretically be wrong.
We serve clients across banking, insurance, fintech, healthcare, retail, higher education, manufacturing and telecommunications, as well as government agencies. Each engagement is tailored to the regulatory obligations and threat patterns specific to that sector.
Forensics. Most security firms can tell you that you were breached — we can tell you how, by whom, what was taken, and prove it to a standard that holds up under challenge. Combining that with preventive security under one roof means you are not starting again with a second firm when an incident turns into a legal matter.
Our team consists of skilled, experienced practitioners with a deep understanding of cybersecurity, digital forensics and industry best practice. The people who scope your work are the people who do it.
Both. We focus on proactive measures — risk assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing and security awareness training — as well as incident response to address and mitigate incidents when they do occur. Most clients start proactive and keep us on retainer for the day they need the other half.
Yes. We have expertise across compliance frameworks and can help align your security practices with the regulation that applies to you — including Kenya's Data Protection Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and sector-specific standards.
We prioritise the confidentiality and integrity of client information. We follow strict protocols and industry best practice, and maintain robust security measures around everything we hold. An NDA is available before any technical discussion begins.
Yes. We provide ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance to ensure the continued effectiveness of what we implemented, and to address emerging threats as they appear. We do not hand over a report and disappear.
Reach out through any of our contact channels and our team will discuss your specific needs, provide an initial consultation, and develop a tailored security solution for your organisation. A senior advisor replies within one business day — no sales scripts.
Services
Start with a Risk Assessment paired with Cybersecurity Consultation. Together they give you a clear picture of what you hold, what it is worth, and where you are exposed — the foundation everything else builds on. From there we sequence the rest around your actual risk, not a product catalogue.
Yes, and most clients do. Our services are designed to work together as a single security programme under one account team and one point of contact. Bundled engagements also work out considerably cheaper than contracting each service separately.
Vulnerability scanning is automated and surfaces known weaknesses. Penetration testing puts skilled human operators against your environment, actively attempting to exploit those weaknesses and discovering logic flaws and chained attacks that automated scanners miss entirely. We deliver both.
AI agents are a new attack surface: they read untrusted input, hold credentials, and call real tools. We test them for prompt injection and jailbreaks, review what each tool and permission actually allows, check for data leakage through model context and logs, and help you put approval gates around consequential actions. It applies whether you built the agent yourself or bought it.
Yes. We operate across the region from Nairobi, with presence in Kampala, Dar es Salaam and Cape Town, and we deliver remote engagements across the continent. Forensics work involving physical evidence is handled from our Nairobi lab.
Absolutely. Many of our clients have capable internal teams and bring us in for the work that benefits from an outside perspective — penetration testing, forensic investigation, compliance readiness, or extending coverage outside office hours. We augment your team rather than replace it.

Digital Forensics
Restoring from backup gets you running again but destroys the evidence of how you were breached — and often restores the same weakness. Call us before you wipe anything if the incident involves suspected insider activity, theft of data or intellectual property, regulatory notification obligations, or anything that might end up in court or in an insurance claim.
That is the point of doing it properly. We maintain chain of custody throughout, use defensible tooling and methodology, and document our process so it survives challenge. We also provide expert testimony and consultation in legal proceedings, intellectual property disputes and digital evidence examination.
Depending on the matter: incident response to identify source and extent, data breach investigation to determine what was compromised and how, unauthorised access detection across logs and system artefacts, malware analysis to understand capability and impact, and legal support where the matter requires it.
Contact us as soon as you suspect something — the first hours matter, and the most common cause of a failed investigation is well-meaning cleanup that destroyed the evidence. We will tell you immediately what to preserve and what not to touch, even before the engagement is formally scoped.
Security for AI Agents
Because they break the assumption every other control is built on. A traditional application only does what you programmed it to do. An agent decides what to do based on content it reads — including content an attacker controls. If your agent reads a web page, an email or a document, an attacker who can influence that text can influence the agent.
Instructions hidden in content your agent processes, which the agent then follows as though they came from you. A support ticket, a CV, an invoice or a web page can carry text that tells the agent to leak data, call a tool it should not, or ignore its own rules. We test for it against your actual agent rather than in the abstract.
Yes, and arguably more so. You still chose what credentials it holds, what tools it can call, and what data it can reach — and you carry the risk if it is manipulated. We assess the deployment and its permissions regardless of who wrote the underlying system.
A clear picture of what your agent can be made to do by someone who did not ask nicely: tested injection paths, the blast radius of each tool and permission, where data can leak through context and logs, and a concrete set of guardrails and approval gates sized to the consequences of each action.
Pricing & Billing
Managed Security Services (MSS) are comprehensive cybersecurity solutions outsourced to a third-party provider who oversees and manages your security infrastructure and operations. These services cover threat detection and response, security monitoring, vulnerability management, compliance management and incident response. We provide the expertise, tools and resources to improve your security posture so you can focus on your core business.
Our service model uses a fixed monthly fee based on the size and complexity of your particular network. Once contracted, your Managed Security Services cover maintenance and support for every component of your network — giving you peace of mind and the ability to forecast your security costs accurately.
Flat-rate billing lets you budget your security expenses so you can focus on your core business goals. We customise each package for your business, so you only pay for what you need. SCIAT AFRICA serves as your one-stop shop for managed security — all for one fixed monthly cost. We do not profit from your pain.
No problem. We offer scalable solutions tailored to your specific needs. Whether you need a full package of managed security services and consulting, individual security solutions, or digital forensics, we make it simple with an affordable, customised flat-rate service plan that works alongside your existing team.
Contracts vary by provider — some offer month-to-month, others require multi-year commitments with high startup costs. We work with you to agree a term that suits your organisation rather than locking you into something that only suits us. Talk to us about what works for your budget cycle.
We work with each client to establish specific expectations. Our measurable service levels specify clear consequences for not living up to what we agreed. For general enquiries, a senior advisor replies within one business day.
We pride ourselves on being ecosystem agnostic: whether you use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Windows or Mac, Android or iOS, we will support your team. Need a server on-site or hosted on AWS or Azure? We support that too. Transitioning from one ecosystem to another? We will be there for it.
First and foremost, you never want to go without security protection. Free anti-virus has very low detection rates and little to no response capability. Get in touch and we will advise on the security software we recommend for protection against spyware, malware and viruses — sized to your organisation.
